Mrs Wendy Tancred

Mrs Wendy Tancred,  B.Com, CPA, Dip FP, CSM, Grad Cert Mgmt, SA Fin, FASFA, CFP®

Managing Director

Wendy was appointed Managing Director of MAP in October 2005. She is responsible to the Board for day to day management of the MAP Group. Wendy has extensive experience in the financial services industry.

She has held a variety of roles with AMP including technical, business development and marketing functions. Whilst with Westpac, Wendy held a number of senior positions within the Financial Planning and Private Bank divisions.  She is a Director of the Gregory Terrace Foundation and a Member of the Australian Dental Association Foundation Advisory Board.

 

Greg J. Hoyes

Greg J. Hoyes CA, B.Com

Chief Financial Officer

Greg has been with MAP since 1991 and is responsible for administration and accounting for the Fund and reporting to members of the Fund. This includes recording and valuation of investments and control of Investors accounts.

His previous roles in auditing and consultancy with chartered accountants, Pannell Kerr Forster, Kendalls KBM and Coopers and Lybrand have provided him with a broad knowledge of accounting and finance principles and practice. Greg is a qualified chartered accountant and has extensive experience in systems design and accounting software.

 

Ross Endres

Ross Endres CFA SA Fin

Chief Investment Officer

Ross was appointed Chief Investment Officer of MAP in January 2008 and is responsible for the investment strategy of the fund. He has 15 years experience in investment management principally in the areas of asset valuation, financial market modelling and product development.

He held previous roles at Suncorp Investments in asset allocation and the last 10 years at Tactical Global Management, a specialist GTAA, Global Macro and currency manager.

 

Andrew Connors

Andrew Connors B.Ec

Portfolio Manager

Andrew joined MAP as the Portfolio Manager in January 2009 and is responsible for developing and implementing the investment strategy of the fund. He has 10 years experience in investment management principally in the areas of investment strategy, asset allocation and risk management.

He held previous roles at Suncorp Investments in asset allocation as well as quantitative risk roles at Deutsche Asset Management and INVESCO in London. Andrew has completed a Bachelor of Economics from Sydney University and is currently completing a Masters of Applied Finance from Macquarie University.


Sue Winsor

Sue Winsor, Dip FP, MFP

Senior Financial Planner

Sue joined MAP in 2005 and has extensive experience in the financial services industry as a Financial Adviser. She has completed the Diploma of Financial Planning through Deakin University and a Masters of Financial Planning through the University of the Sunshine Coast.

Sue has previously specialised in Self Managed Super Funds and has extensive knowledge of investments, insurance and estate planning matters. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia.

 

Lylia Taylor

Lylia Taylor, CFP®, Dip FP

Senior Financial Planner

Lylia joined MAP Financial Planning in September 2006 and she has over 30 years experience in the financial services industry including banking, insurance, superannuation and financial planning.

Lylia has completed the Diploma of Financial Planning through Deakin University and holds the highest possible designation Certified Financial Planner ™ as issued by the Financial Planning Association of Australia.

Lylia is able to assist clients with investment selection, taxation strategies, superannuation and retirement planning advice. She also has extensive knowledge in insurance and estate planning. Over the last five years Lylia has concentrated on pre and post retirement planning, Self Managed Superannuation Funds and portfolio management.

 

Ian Archibald

Ian Archibald, CFP®, MCom, Dip FP

Authorised Representative

Ian Archibald commenced in the Australian financial services industry in 1993 and has 13 years of experience working with clients in the areas of General Financial Planning, Retirement Planning, Superannuation Planning for both individuals and corporations, Personal and Business Insurance Planning and Estate Planning.

After successfully completing the Diploma of Financial Planning and a Master of Commerce (Financial Planning) degree, Ian attained the internationally recognised designation of Certified Financial Planner and has consistently undertaken professional education and training on an annual basis, which exceeds the minimum requirements recommended by the Financial Planning Association of Australia for a Certified Financial Planner . Ian is also a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia.

 

Leanne Latemore

Financial Planning Assistant

Leanne joined MAP in March 2006 after 16 years in the Financial Services Industry. Leanne's role is to assist and support the financial planning team with the daily administrative duties.

 

Tony Sequeira

Tony Sequeira, Adv Dip FS (Super), FASFA, ANZIIF Snr Assoc, CIP, AFAIM.

State Manager - NSW

Tony joined MAP in March 2007 and is responsible for growing our business and continuing MAP's tradition of providing excellent personal service to our members in NSW.

Tony has over 30 years experience in the superannuation industry, having worked in senior sales, consulting and management roles at major life offices (including MLC, AXA and Zurich) and consulting and actuarial firms (including Alexander Consulting, NSP Buck Consultants and Mellon). His experience extends to corporate, master trust and industry superannuation funds.

 

 

Colin G. Morley, Dip FS (FP)

Manager Marketing & Strategy 

Colin joined MAP in December 2008 in the new role of Manager, Marketing and Strategy. Colin’s specific responsibilities include marketing, communications and business development for MAP Funds Management and MAP Financial Planning as well as developing strategic initiatives for all aspects of the MAP Businesses.

Colin has over 20 years experience in the financial services industry with the majority of time devoted to the Superannuation sector. His superannuation background is diverse including Administration Management, Product Management, Sales and Marketing covering operations, investments, strategic planning and group life insurance.

Prior to joining MAP, Colin spent four years as General Manager and Fund Secretary of the Sisters of Mercy Staff Superannuation Scheme.

Colin has also held a number of senior positions in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane with National Mutual, Perpetual Trustees, Suncorp, BT Funds Management and ANZ.

 

Henry McGhee

Business Development Officer 

Henry joined MAP in October 2008 bringing a combination of experience in both Financial and Health Services. After a period of Nursing, Henry became involved in the Financial Services Industry and most recently was the Client Services Manager for a major Brisbane Financial Planning Practice.

Henry’s specific responsibilities with MAP are providing a personal service to our most valued members and employer participants.
